From Fighting Fires to Fighting Cancer

A local firefighter Trevor Hubbard was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Whilst the tumor was removed, the cancer had already spread to his liver and lungs. Trevor will get chemo every two weeks, yet he still aspires to be involved in every community event that he is able to attend.

There will be a benefit on August 29 at BCDC Park in Beckemeyer, Illinois for the loving husband and father 2. Starting at 11 am, it will be a day filled with fun events, all benefiting a local hero in need. There will be a raffle with six amazing prizes, music, food, face painting, inflatables, auctions, and more! Join us as we support this incredible man and his efforts to beat the cancer.

We’re trying to help ease the financial burden to help him get his strength back and fight the cancer. He has done so much for all of us in our community, and it’s our turn to give back!
